Approved for WIOA Funding!                      Program Runs Every Fall and Spring!

Why Enroll in the HVAC/R Fast Track Program?

Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) is an in-demand industry with nearly unlimited advancement opportunities for trained and skilled technical students.  HVACR is a stable, reliable service-driven industry that will continue to be essential as HVACR technicians are responsible for ensuring that the air quality, temperature and humidity levels in our homes, workplaces and public spaces are safe and optimal for comfort and well-being.

What Does an HVAC/R Technician Do?

Heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers—often called HVACR technicians—work on heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration   systems that control the temperature and air quality in buildings.

What is the Job Outlook for HVAC/R Technicians?

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers is projected to grow 9 percent from 2022 to 2032, much faster than the average for all occupations. Candidates familiar with computers and electronics and those with good troubleshooting skills will have the best job opportunities as employers continue to have difficulty finding qualified technicians to install, maintain, and repair upgraded systems. The median annual wage for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers was $57,300 in May 2023.
